What is Stephen Ministry?
Stephen Ministry is a church program that equips lay persons to provide one-on-one Christian care to those in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficult times. Stephen Ministry is a confidential ministry. Those receiving care from a Stephen Minister, and all that is discussed during that care, remains private.
Who benefits from Stephen Ministry?

People who benefit from Stephen Ministry are those going through a crisis or life difficulty such as:
Loss of a loved one
Hospitalization
Divorce or Separation
Terminal Illness
Loneliness or discouragement
Job Crisis
Many other Life Challanges

A Stephen Minister is a member of Patton Trinity Methodist who:
Is a child of God who walks beside those who are hurting
A congregation member who has completed 50 hours of training in providing high-quality, distinctively Christian Care
Someone who meets faithfully each week with his or her care reciever for as long as there is a need.
